The Fault In Our Stars Book Part 1

In the book, The Fault In Our Stars Augustus as known as Gus and Hazel meet at a support group for cancer patients. The support group was for people who were on the same journey. Hazel was walking, and Gus bumped into her by an accident. That is where it all began. Hazel and Gus had a true love story. They were two teenage people going through the same things. Hazel is 16 years old, and Gus is 17 years old. The conflict was Hazel had cancer and she wasn't doing very well. Hazel's mom made her go to a support group. At first Hazel didn't want to go to a support group. To make her mom happy, she decided to go. She met Gus at the support group. Gus was asking Hazel questions about herself, for example her full name. Hazel responded "Hazel Grace Lancaster." So far Gus calls her Hazel Grace and everyone else calls her Hazel. Once support group ended, Gus walked up to her and asked her to go to a movie, and Hazel said "You could be an ax murderer or something." Then Gus pulled out a cigarette, and Hazel got really mad. Hazel was staying stuff like "Really?! You think that's cool!! Well let me tell you not being able to breath sucks." Gus laughed, and said "Hazel it only kills you if you smoke it. I never lit one, you see its a metaphor you put the killing thing right between your teeth, but you don't give it the power to kill you." Hazel looked at him in shock. Then support group was over and Hazel's mom was there to pick her up.. but Hazel said "No I made plans with Augustus Waters." Then Hazel's mom allowed them to hang out. Hazel went home with Augustus and they started talking about stuff they like, for example types of books.
